Board Resolution for Applying for New Electricity Connection

When a company applies for a new electricity connection for any of its office or any part of its building, the electricity provider company may ask for a copy of board resolution for this purpose.

Along with the application form for electricity connection, the board resolution and also a few other important documents are also required to be submitted.

“RESOLVED THAT the Company do apply for obtaining a new electricity connection from the (Name of the Electricity Company) for the following premises of the company:

          Office address where new electricity supply is required:

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. / Ms. (Name of the Officer), (Designation) be and is hereby authorised sign and submit the necessary application form along with all documents as may be required to be submitted to the (Name of the Electricity Company) to obtain electricity connection for the said premises, and also further authorised to take all such steps and do all such acts, deeds and things as may be necessary in this regard.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. / Ms. (Name of the Officer), (Designation) be and is hereby authorised to sign and forward a true copy of the foregoing resolution to (Name of the Electricity Company) with regard to the application for new electricity connection.”
