Board Resolution for Transfer of Electricity Connection Sample

If a company wants to transfer any of its existing electricity connection in favour of any other individual or organisation, it has to apply to the Electricity Board for transfer of connection.

The electricity board may ask for a copy of board resolution along with other supporting documents with the application form for this purpose.

You may refer the following template of board resolution while drafting.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. / Ms. (Name of the Officer), (Designation) be and is hereby authorised sign and the submit necessary application form along with all documents as may be required to be submitted to the (....name of the electricity company....) for transfer of the above mentioned electricity connection, and also authorised to take all such steps and do all such acts, deeds and things as may be necessary or incidental thereto.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr. / Ms. (Name of the Officer), (Designation) be and is hereby authorised to sign and forward a true copy of the foregoing resolution to (....name of the electricity company....) with regard to the application for transfer of electricity connection.”
